Deuce Seelster scratched from Jug

Deuce Seelster has been scratched from the Little Brown Jug, having developed a quarter crack.  He had been scheduled to compete in the second elimination of the Jug. The Western Maverick colt's departure left John Campbell briefly without a drive in the 63rd edition of the LBJ, but he was then named to drive Mystery Chase in the same elimination.
 
Ohio native Kyle Arter will get the thrill of his career when he was named to drive Blueridge Hall in the first $58,797 elimination. That will be Ater's first drive in the Jug.
