Diamonds Revenge won the $22,800 winners-over pace while Gottaservesomebody was strongest in the stretch in the $19,500 pace for young horses on Sunday at Dover Downs. Tony Morgan, with six wins, and Jim Morand, four, combined to dominate the 15-race program. Foulk Stables' Diamonds Revenge grounded out a 1:53.1 victory in the feature, collaring front-pacing Hicktown and Brandon Givens in the closing strides to win by a head with Grinfrombeertobeer coming along the passing lane to within a neck of the winner at the wire. The win was the third in eight starts for the consistent Jenna's Beach Boy gelding conditioned by Trish Foulk and driven by Eddie Davis Jr. Gottaservesomebody has a strong stretch kick enabling the Artiscape gelding to overtake Classic Card Shark (Morand) in the stretch for a 1:52 victory. Leonard Place (Jonathan Roberts) was third.
Brian Richards' What A Beauty scored a 1:55.4 victory in a $16,000 mares pace with Morand piloting her to her third win in the last five starts. Preview The Dream (David Hill) picked up second money. On Stage Sizzle (Davis) took third. Sheer Brilliance continued unbeaten after three lifetime races as Vic Kirby steered the apparently well-named Blissfull Hall gelding to a 1:54.2 triumph in a Delaware pace. Fine-Tuner (Corey Callahan) closed strongly for second in front of Devil's Embrace N (Davis).
Robin and Jay Breasure's Mr. Sox, piloted by Morand, came off the pace to score a 1:54.3 victory in the $25,000 claimer. Fifth Wave (Frank Milby) came on to finish second in front of Southwind Go Go Go (Sean Bier). Morgan recorded his fifth of his six-win night and 12th victory in consecutive days driving Osprey Ridge to victory in an $11,000 male pace. Bandito N (Roger Plante) was a strong second with Josh's Z Tam (Roberts) taking the show spot. Gary Evans trains and co-owns the Falcon Future-sired winner with the Foulk Stable, giving that barn a double. (Dover Downs)
