Delaware Standardbred Breeder Fund (DSBF) attention moved to the colt and gelding division with six $20,000 1st-leg preliminaries for 2 year olds highlighting the Sunday program at Dover Downs.

Dina's Gamble scored the fastest victory on a chilly night as Corey Callahan moved the Tune Town gelding into the lead heading to the three quarters and then pulled off for a 1:53.3 triumph for Vicki Givens and Louie Paglierani. The win was the third of his nine-race career for the Wayne Givens trainee. Badlands Jade, was second best for Tim Tetrick with Badlands Big Boy and Tim Curtin the show finisher.

Night Trouble, a Three Olives colt owned by Elmer Fannin, notched his fourth win of the season with Jim Morand guiding the 1:54.1 winner for trainer George Teague. Business Plan, a Badlands Hanover gelding, sat second the entire mile for Ben Stafford Jr. A Three Wizzards colt, Tree Light took third for trainer-driver Jeff Fout.

Martininiwith Olives won another DSBF frosh pace as Eddie Davis Jr. steered the Josh Green conditioned Three Olives gelding to victory number four of his cafeer, a 1:56.1 score in his $20,000 prelim. Roger and Dawn Samson and Joe Seekman Racing Stable own the winner. Mimi's Tyler, also by Three Olives, with Ross Wolfenden took second in front of a Badlands Hanover gelding Uncle Rubble and Morand.

Triple Black made good use of starting from the rail as Ben Stafford Jr. drove the Badlands Hanover gelding he owns with John Heckler to a 1:54.3 lifetime best in another $20,000 DSBF event. West Coast Bad Boy was next for Wayne Long with a Three Olives colt Always A Choice and Callahan taking third.

Indian Hill Mojoe, owned by Ginger Keeler and trainer-driver Ron Hill, waited until late before making his winning move zooming past the leaders to an easy 2:01.4 victory in the first DSBF trot. The second-place finisher in the Harrington $110,000 DSBF final posted his second win with two seconds in four races. Man Of Science, with Les Givens driving the CR Commando chestnut for Brandon Givens, Walt Blacharski and Nanticoke Racing, took second money with Westgate Mike, recovering after an early break, coming back to finish third for Wolfenden.

Aggressive Commando picked right up where he left off winning the $110,000 DSBF final at Harrington in his previous start romping to a 2:04.4 victory in the second $20,000 trot prelim for owner Delbert Cain, trainer Les Givens and driver Morand. Investment, also by CR Commando, closed strongly for Davis to take second with Rough Seas and Ryan McInnis third.

DSBF second-leg prelims next weekend with filly pacers and trotter on Saturday and colt and geldings vie on Sunday. The top eight point getters move to $110,000 finals on Sunday, Dec. 2.

The fastest mile of the night came in a $10,000 male pace with Cyclone Cully N, a 5-year-old gelding by top Down Under stallion Christian Cullen, in a 1:51.3 victory. Vic Kirby drove the win for trainer Steve Warrington and co-owner Geraldine McClure. (Dover Downs)
