A contract dispute between Georgian Downs and the Ontario Harness Horse Association has prompted the Ontario racetrack to cancel its first two cards of 2007. Georgian Downs cancelled on Tuesday and again on Saturday due to regulatory requirements from the Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency that requires a signed agreement between a track and horsemen before approval is granted to race.
