Do a double flip at Dover

Blue Swimmer A and Menno Boy won the $20,000 Delaware winners-over co-features at Dover Downs on Sunday while three colt and two filly $20,000 Delaware Standardbred Breedders Fund (DSBF) second-leg paces concluded the preliminary rounds.

The sports and the track's leading driver, Tim Tetrick, won six races for the second straight card and Tony Morgan had three winners on the next-to-last Sunday card of the season. Trainers Chuck Crissman and Jason Skinner had two winners each.

Tetrick drove Robbins Next Farm and Wendy Crissman's recent early 2007 acquisition Blue Swimmer A to his third win since arriving from Australia, overcoming a start from post eight to race gamely on the outside en route to a 1:53.4 victory in one of two $20,000 Delaware winners-over paces. The Safely Kept gelding beat Josh's Z Tam with Morgan and the Roger Plante-driven Clinton Debriefed down the lane to overtake race leader Next Flight in deep stretch.

Robert Messick's Menno Boy closed from far back to win the other $20,000 Delaware winners-over pace in 1:52.3. From sixth at the three-quarters, moving three and then four wide, Jim Morand urged the Shady Character gelding on for a strong stretch dash to beat leader High Calibre N and Steve Warrington by a head. Iza Miraculous Guy with Kevin Sizer was a gritty third.

J&E Stable's GE's Jordan set a new lifetime mark of 1:51.1 winning a $15,500 conditioned pace with Eddie Davis Jr. at the controls. Anthony's Bliss (Morand) led in the stretch and finished second beaten a quarter-length. Eagles Together N (Morgan) the race favorite was third.

Morgan won one of his three winners guiding Three Point Acres' Blowout Hanover to a second straight win in a lifetime fastest 1:51.2 score. Home Run Hudson with Tetrick finished second. PH Outlaw piloted by Brad Hanners was the show finisher.

Morgan also drove Arty Foster Jr.'s Mr. Touring to a come-from-behind 1:53.2 win in a $13,500 conditioned pace. IK Ulisee N (Tetrick) was runner-up. Cobbler Hanover (Ross Wolfenden) the early leader hung on for third.

Arty Foster's He May Be Angel teamed with Tetrick to score a sixth win in his last seven starts to win a $20,000 claiming pace. The Sportsmaster gelding began the streak at the $10,000 level and worked his way up winning. Keither (Morgan) was second in front of DM Destiny (Dylan Davis).

Earlier on the program, there were five $20,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) second and last preliminary legs for 3-year-old colt and gelding pacers and two for filly paces.

Double Flip, owned by Earl and John Wagner and Winbak Farm, won her second straight $20,000 DSBF section as Morgan drove the Badlands Hanover filly to an easy 1:53.2 victory. The second $20,000 DSBF filly prelim saw Tetrick urge Roam'n At Cooly's Stables' Love And Truth from fifth at the half to first in short order and then rolled on for a 1:55 win.

GTY Stable's Be Bad Bill and Wolfenden took the front early and led to the finish line in 1:54.1 to win the fastest $20,000 DSBF colt prelim. Sizer drove Mr. Aviator to his second consecutive win for Trevor Warwick and Peter George in another $20,000 colt and gelding prelim notching a 1:54.3 triumph in a three-colt photo finish. Chang Racing Dynasty's Skeleton Key driven by Ben Stafford Jr. made it two straight wins and four of his last first races chalking up a 1:55.2 victory. (Dover Downs)
