Headed approaching the final turn, Do Me Honor fought back and claimed a narrow victory—her third straight—in Tuesday's $20,000 Filly & Mare Not Listed Preferred/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.
Despite a parked-out first quarter in :27.1, Do Me Honor was on the lead when she encountered a first-over challenge from Tremor Hanover, who inched ahead. But Do Me Honor dug in for Aaron Merriman and defeated her game rival by a nose in 1:54.1. Lady Ashlyn rallied for show.
