Do Me Honor got away first but yielded to Novascotia Hanover, who was hard-used from post nine to make the front. When the field turned for home, Do Me Honor responded to Aaron Merriman's urging and brushed clear to score in 1:52.1. Tremor Hanover raced well from post 10 to be second, 1-3/4 lengths back, while Nice Party shot the Lightning Lane for show.
