July 18, 2008 Send To A Friend  | Print View

The Monte Gelrod-trained Dontloseyourdayjob has been scratched sick from the $1.1 million Meadowlands Pace on Saturday night, leaving a field of nine to battle for the rich jackpot.

Dontloseyourdayjob is a 3-year-old colt by Life Sign owned and bred by Fred Monteleone. The colt finished third in the Meadowlands Pace elimination won the Share The Delight and had drawn post eight for the Pace final, just inside of Badlands Nitro (post nine) and Tiz A Masterpiece (post 10).

Undefeated Somebeachsomewhere guns for his eleventh win as the 2-5 favorite in the Pace, which is carded as race eight [10:14 p.m.].  First race on Pace night is 7:30 p.m.
