June 27, 2007 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Winbak Farm, John Wagner and Earl Wagner's Double Flip ($3.20, Tony Morgan) was the fastest of five Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) winners Tuesday at Harrington Raceway.

Among the $20,000 eliminations, two were for pacing fillies and three for trotting fillies. The Manley Brown-trained Double Flip was sent to the lead early and was never headed in her three-length win in 1:52.4 over Honeyland and Miss Fanelli. It was just a fifth of a second off the track record of 1:52.3, held by Ireneonthemove for 3-year-old fillies.

Rodney Mitchell and Freida Ivory's Richfromthestart ($6.20, George Dennis) won the remaining pacing filly division.

Three non-betting events for trotting fillies were contested with Devilish Miss (Brandon Givens), Twilight Mist (Tim Tetrick) and Molly McGuire (Jim Morand).

In the $16,500 Mares Open, Dan Warrington and Don Hawk's Dance Hall ($23.80, Victor Kirby) was an upset winner over Hopefull N and Yada Yada Yada A in 1:52.3.

The 5-year-old Blissfull Hall mare earned her third win of the year for trainer Dan Warrington. (Harrington)
