My Little Dragon successfully defended her Breeders Crown title by overcoming Darlin's Delight in the stretch in the $500,000 Three-Year-Old Filly Pace in 1:52.3.

Driven by Brian Sears, My Little Dragon came first-over around the final turn, but ducked behind Darlin's Delight at the top of the stretch. The move worked as My Little Dragon came back out refreshed and mowed down Darlin's Delight to win by one-half length.

"It was big to drop in going into that headwind in the stretch. She likes passing horses and I think it bravened her up," Sears said.

My Little Dragon, who has never finished worse than second in 16 career starts, is trained by Noel Daley for Adam Victor and Son Stable.
