The draw for the final heat of the Elitlopp was held shortly after the second elimination and the French first-heat winner, L'Amiral Mauzun, drew post one, with Mr. Muscleman drawing post six. The draw procedure for the race allows the winners of the elims to draw for posts one and two, then the two second-place finishers draw for three and four, and down the line.
