Dr. John B. Glesmann, who along with partner Bob Key won the 1993 Hambletonian with American Winner, died Saturday at age 88 at his residence in New Jersey. Born in Dr. Glesmann received his B.A. from A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Dr. Glesmann was honorably discharged at the rank of captain in 1948. A long-time member of the American Medical Association, he was also a member of the U.S. Trotting Association. He also enjoyed sailing.
