Immortal Quest N, Western Ace and Eagle Real One started the New Year off with victories on the Monday tri-feature race card at Dover Downs.

Eddie Davis Jr. took Immortal Quest N right to the front and cut all the winning fractions in a 1:51.1 victory is the $32,500 Delaware Special. Carter Racing Stable and trainer Bobby Myers own the 10-year-old Sands A Flyin-Reign In New York gelding who won for the 30th time in his career. Thin Blue Line (Jonathan Roberts) enjoyed a two-hole trip from the start and stayed second. Steel (Eric Goodell) was the third-place finisher.

The same trio of owners, trainer and driver won again when Fields Of Honour A came down the "Dover Driveway" to win a 1:52.3 victory in a $15,000 pace. The Fake Left-Classic Sheffield gelding overtook Nighthawk Hall (Ron Pierce) in deep stretch. Art And Donna (Roberts) was next.

Kovach Stables and Teague Inc.'s classy Western Ace dropped down a notch to the $22,000 winners-over ranks and pulled out of second in the stretch and won easily in 1:52.4. The Western Ideal-Alice Alice gelding posted his 23rd career win bringing his lifetime bankroll to $1.673,917. Lightningjacksback (Tim Curtin) made good use of the passing lane to finish second. That's Justice (Mark Gingrich) was the show horse.

In the other $22,000 event, trainer Josh Green and driver Eric Goodell, each of whom made three trips to the winner's circle, combined as Frank Dettore's Eagle Real One scored a 1:52.4 triumph. It was the Dragon Again-Breathless Lady 6 year old's first win after four seconds in his last five races. Cool Cal (Tony Morgan) was had back in second. JK Lullabye (Callahan) was third.

Pierce drove trainer Chuck Crissman's third conditioned winner on the program and owner Three Point Acres' second success Western Hot Shot to a 1:52 wire-to-wire conquest for the Western Hanover Hot Shot Michelle gelding's third consecutive victory. Menno Boy (Brian Sears) was second all the way. Devil's Embrace N (Davis) took a shot at the leader on the backstretch to no avail but held on for third. (Dover Downs)
