Five $20,000 divisions of Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) stakes events for 3-year-trotters went postward Sunday at Harrington Raceway with three events for fillies and two for colts in the first of two legs for the sophomore trotters. Fred Brunner and Layhoon Chan Brunner's Swissonian ($2.20, Tim Tetrick) won for the ninth time in 13 career starts in 2:01.4 in the first colt division, while Nanticoke Racing's Nanticoke Snazz ($3.40, Brandon Givens) won the second. Swissonian is trained by Josh Green, while Nanticoke Snazz is a Les Givens trainee. Lloyd Arnold's Ms. Virginia ($2.40, Tony Morgan) was the fastest filly and overall winner with a 1:59.4 triumph for trainer Manley Brown Jr. Mist Stable's Twilight Mist ($2.60, Tetrick) was victorious in 2:02.1 for trainer Jim Thompson, while Les Givens-trained Nanticoke Racing, B.A. Givens and Ed Maas' Devilish Miss ($4.20, Brandon Givens) won the remaining division in 2:00.2.
