Go Sassy Go set a Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund stakes record with a 1:58.2 victory in the $100,000 final for 3-year-old filly trotters Thursday night at Dover Downs. One race later, Maid To Command won the $100,000 colt final with a 2:00.2 effort.

George Dennis directed Go Sassy Go to the victory, the win being his 3,000th career driving effort. The entire field consisted of fillies sired by CR Commando. Go Sassy Go easily defeated J Bo and Lady Commando.

Go Sassy Go is owned by Delbert Cain. The 3-year-old filly has now won $69,650 this year and $91,000 in her career.

The colt final was also a showcase for CR Commando with all starters also being sired by the Winbak Farm stallion. Art Stafford Jr. drove Maid To Command for owner Diana Harrison. Command Of Heart was second, with First Commander third.

The win was the second straight for Maid To Command, raising his seasonal earnings to $61,250 and $103,250 lifetime.
