Phillip "Dusty" Stillings, who worked with his brother Dick's racing stable at The Meadows in past years, died Saturday in Mount Vernon, Ohio, at age 59.
Stillings died of an apparent heart attack at the Knox Community Hospital. He worked as a truck driver for Smithleisler Meats in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his wife Connie; two sons, Sean and Charlie; two grandchildren; two brothers, Richard "Dick" and Charles "Buddy;" and eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm on Wednesday at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Rd., Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
