EHV hits The Meadows

One barn at The Meadows is now under quaraintine following the testing positive of a horse for Equine Herpes Virus (EHV) at the Pittsburgh-area track. The horse, Twilight Mystery, died Feb. 18 and the barn has been placed under a 21-day quarantine.



Twilight Mystery was trained by Jeff Indof. According to a story in Saturday's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, other trainers whose horses are now under quarantine include Chris and Wayne Hite, Ray Paver, and Nicole Harvey..A treadmill has been brought in so the affected horses can continue to get exercise.
