Eight wins for Stormaway

May 05, 2006 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Stormaway continued his dominance over Ontario-sired 3-year-old pacing colts racing at Woodbine as he won a series leg in 1:51.4, giving him eight wins in nine starts this season.

A 3-year-old colt sired by Northern Luck, Stormaway won by two lengths to post his fourth straight win at Woodbine. Dan Megens trains the colt and owns him in partnership with Janice Van Nest and Peter Caetano. Mark Megens, Dan’s brother, drives Stormaway.

Stormaway was unraced as a 2-year-old. He has already captured the Youthful Pacing Series and just missed winning the Apaches Fame final, losing by a head. He’s now competing in the Ontario Sires Spring Series.
