Eileen Cashman dies

Eileen Cashman, the mother of John Cashman Jr., died in Pompano Beach, Fla., Thursday at age 95.



Mrs. Cashman suffered a stroke about two weeks earlier but had been in excellent health until that time.



A memorial service will be held in Pompano Beach, where she lived for the last 37 years, although a date and time has not yet been set. Mrs. Cashman will be buried in New York next to her late husband, John A. Cashman Sr., who worked for many years as a racing official in New York.
