Ilene O'Brien, the widow of Hall of Fame horseman Joe O'Brien, died Monday, May 8, at a convalescent center near her home in Shafter, Calif. She was 79. Mrs. O'Brien had spent the last three years at the center suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
