The Meadowlands opens up its 2008 winter harness meet on Friday night with elimination races for the Breeders Crown. Friday's night's card, with post time at 7 pm, will feature the eliminations for 2-year-old Crown championships.

Those three horses will be placed in the open draw for post positions, while the winner of the single elimination will get to pick her starting spot. Colt Trot--No elimination needed All 11 colts advance to next week’s final: Broadway Marquis, Celebrity Secret, Clerk Magistrate, Cloud Casino, Crazed, Deweycheatumnhowe, Holiday Credit, In Focus, John Paul's Legacy, Make It Happen, and Napoleon. Filly Pace--Three divisions; races three, seven and eight Supplements: Native Bride and Tug River Princess were each supplemented for $62,500. Colt Pace--One division; race six
