Enough Talk won the Breeders Crown Open Trot elimination at Mohawk Racetrack Saturday night, and in the process he tied the Canadian mark of 1:51.1 when he easily won by 5 3/4 lengths over runner-up Digital Image, with Coreleone Kosmos even farther back in third.
Enough Talk, who campaigned in Europe earlier this year, also earned a new lifetime mark with the score in the $47,893 Crown elim. Ron Pierce drove the 5-year-old gelding by Enjoy Lavec to the victory for trainer Peter Kleinhans, who also owns the horse in partnership with Jerry Silva.
Enough Talk now has five wins in 17 starts this year.
The top eight finishers in the Crown elim advanced to the final. Missing the cut were Man About Town and Lanson.
Also joining Enough Talk, Digital Image, Corleone Kosmos, Armbro Chronicle, Vivid Photo, Green Day, Armbro Continental and Up Front Ben will be Arch Madness and Knight Of Intrigue, who took advantage of byes.
