Fast Ruffles romped to an 11-length victory in the Matron elimination for 2-year-old filly pacers Saturday on the opening day program at Dover Downs. Driven by Ron Pierce, Fast Ruffles coasted to a 1:54.2 victory over Crystal Slipper. The top eight finishers in the 10-filly contest will return for the $189,000 Matron final next Saturday night.
