Breeders Crown preps for older male trotters and older female pacers were held at the Meadowlands Saturday night and the winners were Corleone Kosmos in 1:51.3 and the supplemental entry Easton Alliance N in 1:50.4.

Corleone Kosmos, a 4-year-old gelding by SJ’s Photo, followed cover during most of his rally and pulled away near to the wire to earn the victory. Smooth Muscles, who gave him coer, held on for second while Vivid Photo was third after shaking loose and find racing room late in the lane.

Ross Croghan trains Corleone Kosmos for owners Arthur Rudolf, Rudolf Stables and Bernard Owen.

Sand Vic, the betting favorite off of his four straight victories—including the last in the Titan Cup, was raced near the back of the field after starting from post seven and was never in the hunt.

Easton Alliance N, a $37,500 supplement into the Breeders Crown Mare Pace, enjoyed a second-over trip to win, giving her six victories in 12 starts this season. The 5-year-old mare was making her first start since May 14 for trainer Ross Croghan and owner Katherine Bardis.

Betting favorite Burning Point raced in the two hole and took second while the pacesetter Glowing Report faded to third.
