Federal Flex dominates in Valley Victory Trot

Return Home
October 25, 2008 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Federal Flex pretty much controlled the $718,000 Valley Victory Trot and took home his fifth win of the season in seven starts with his 1:56.2 score Saturday night at Woodbine.

Jody Jamieson drove Federal Flex, a son of Muscles Yankee and the accomplished Scully FBI. The colt is owned by the Federal Flex Stable, Ken Henwood, Al Libfeld and Marvin Katz.

Judge Joe, driven by D.R. Ackerman, challenged Federal Flex on the last turn, but Ackerman tucked back inside early in the homestretch, conceding that his colt couldn't catch Federal Flex. Encore Encore, a Bob Key homebred, turned in a late sretch rally to edge Judge Joe for second.
