Field set for Hoosier Cup

A field of 12 will race one dash for a $500,000 purse in the Hoosier Cup Saturday afternoon at Hoosier Park in Indiana, and the field includes Annieswesterncard, the 2-year-old world champion Sheer Desire, and the three-horse George Teague entry of Mr Wiggles, Chasin Racin and Barber Pole.
 
The race is the 13th on the program, and is scheduled to go off at 4:45 pm. Hoosier Park has a 12:45 post time on Saturdays.
 
Nine horses start on the gate at Hoosier Park, so there will be 3 trailers in the Hoosier Cup.
