Driver Jody Jamieson continued to be the leading driver on the WEG circuit for the majority of the calendar year, but with a pair of victories on Monday evening's program at Woodbine, driver Sylvain Filion now sits atop the standings.
The Milton resident found the winner's circle with top teamster Richard Moreau. The pair celebrated victories with Sky Desperado ($22.70) in Race 2 and Delcrest Julian ($7) in Race 4.
Filion now has 265 wins on the WEG Circuit this season, two more than Jamieson.
With eight cards remaining on the year, the Filion-Jamieson battle will continue on Thursday evening with a 10-race card at the Rexdale oval. Racing begins at 7:30 p.m. (WEG)
