In Trepid Water and Stonebridge Luau captured their respective $20,000 ( C ) divisions of the second leg of the Ontario Sires Spring Series for 3-year-old pacing fillies at Woodbine Tuesday night. For In Trepid Water it was her second win in the series while Stonebridge Luau scored her first victory in the series after finishing second to In Trepid Water in last week’s opening leg.

With Rick Zeron driving, In Trepid Water grabbed the lead after the opening quarter and was on top the rest of the mile, closing with a 28-second final panel for a 1:51.4 victory, her third in as many starts this year. The winner was 2 1/2 lengths in front of Snowwhite Beach with Moving Picture third.

Owned by the Robert McIntosh Stables and CSX Stables, the Intrepid Seelster lass is trained by Bob McIntosh.

Stonebridge Luau sat a second-over trip with Steve Condren at the lines, then breezed home in :27.3 for the 1:53 victory by 1 1/4 lengths over Highly Charged with Cameron D Art third.

The Island Fantasy filly scored her second victory of the year in four starts for the Oak Knoll Stables. Bob Young trains the lass, who lowered her lifetime mark with the mile.
