Filly brings $200,000

A filly by the pacing sire Artsplace topped the second session at Tattersalls Thursday night when she brought a winning bid of $200,000 from Myron Bell. The filly's mother is a half sister to the dam of world champion Worldly Beauty.



The filly was sold under the name of Art's Temptress and was offered by Preferred Equine Marketing, which acted as agent for White Birch Farm.



The average price for a yearling dipped about five percent from the previous year at the second Tattersalls session. Two more sessions will be held: on Friday night and then on Saturday, when the only consignment offered will be that of Walnut Hall Ltd.
