Hambletonian Oaks winner Silver Spring and Oaks runner-up Housethatruthbuilt won their respective eliminations for the Kentucky Filly Futurity, setting up a showdown in the final between the two 3-year-old filly trotters.

George Brennan made a quarter move to the lead out of the two hold past the quarter and led the rest of the route to win in 1:54.3. Habit's Lady finished 2 1/4 lengths behind in second. A breaking Invincible Dream finished third, but was moved back to fourth following an inquiry. Bramasole was placed third. Finishing fifth and also returning for the second heat was Tady Strikes Again.

Housethatruthbuilt, who has won all three of her starts since finishing behind Silver Springs in the Hambo Oaks, had an easy time of it in the second elim with a 1:54.1 victory. Olympics gave a game effort to get second, with Ivy Swinger third. Also returning for the second heat will be Whispering Spring and Body Elegance.
