Lunar Dream OM ($10), the only filly in the field of eight, captured the $90,000 Harold Dancer final on Wednesday at Freehold Raceway. The Harold Dancer, sponsored by the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey, is open to New Jersey-bred 2-year-old trotters. Lunar Dream OM is the first filly to win the open division. Lunar Dream OM, one of five offspring of Muscles Yankee in the final, posted her first victory in eight career start, trotting the mile in 2:00.1.

Lunar Dream OM, who has now banked nearly $66,000, took the lead at the half and drew off to a three and a half-length tally.
Yankee Gospel, who had defeated Lunar Dream OM by a neck in one of last week’s Harold Dancer elimination races, finished second. The gelded son of Muscles Yankee, coupled in the wagering with Wind Surfer, was sent off as the 2-5 favorite.
Appalach, Dream who is by Yankee Glide, was third by nine and a quarter lengths.
