My Girls A Star, a daughter of Art Major from the Ray Schnittker barn, scored a 1:56.3 victory to take pacing speed-badge honors among 13 baby races Saturday morning at the Meadowlands. The Gorgeous One, a son of Art Major trained by George Teague Jr., won in 1:57.2, while the Teague-trained Skyway Major, also a son of Art Major out of a half sister to the $300,000-plus winners Before Sunrise and No Slow Mo, scored in 1:58.
On the trotting side, I Wish Icould Fly, from the first crop of Gllidemaster, scored a 2:00.3 victory for trainer Jimmy Takter. Another son of Glidemaster from the Takter barn, Not Nice, posted a 2:01 victory in his career debut.
Em El Cash, from the first crop of world champion Cash Hall, posted a 2:02.2 victory for Trond Smedshammer.
