Trotters Continentalvictory, Grades Singing, Malabar Man and Muscles Yankee and pacer Cam’s Card Shark have been placed on this year’s ballot for induction into the Living Horse Hall of Fame in Goshen, N.Y. All members in good standing of the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame are eligible to vote for the two horses they feel exemplify greatness.

Continentalvictory was the 1995 Two-Year-Old Filly Trotter of the Year and went on the following year to win the Hambletonian on her way to Horse of the Year honors.

Grades Singing was a three-time Breeders Crown champion, and was voted the 1986 Older Mare Trotter of the Year in the United States. She was inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame in 1996.

Malabar Man was a two-time Breeders Crown champion and the winner of the 1997 Hambletonian, a year in which he was also honored as Harness Horse of the Year.

Muscles Yankee was not only nominated as a racehorse but also as a stallion. He was the 1998 Three-Year-Old Colt Trotter of the Year, with his wins including the Hambletonian, Breeders Crown and Yonkers Trot.

With four crops of racing age in the record books, Muscles Yankee was the leading money-winning sire by gait in 2003, 2004, and 2005. He has sired 397 starters, with 201 in 2:00 and 34 in 1:55. Their earnings total over $27 million, with 60 $100,000 lifetime winners, four $1 million earners, and one $3 million winner.
Cam’s Card Shark was the 1994 Horse of the Year, becoming the leading single-money winner of all-time with $2,264.714 in earnings. He was the fourth pacer in history to earn more than $2 million in one season.
