It was more Yada Yada Yada A in the $27,500 Mares Open Pace as Ross Wolfenden piloted the 1:52.3 victory in the Dover Downs Tuesday feature race, while Camturo, one of Tony Morgan's three winners, won the $23,000 Mares Jr. Open. Morgan and Wolfenden had driving triples while Brad Hanners had a double.
For the second straight week the Armbro Operative 7-year-old Yada Yada Yada A came from off the pace to notch her fourth win of the year for Bill Dittmar, Steve Iaquinta, Henry King and Ken Wood. Kellytuck Sophie rolled from last with Jonathan Roberts following the winner to within a half-length at the wire. Ultimate Bet and Morgan led from after the half to deep in the stretch and finished third. .
Neal Oksenberg's Camturo won the Jr. Open for the second straight week as the 2006 leading driver in the sport Morgan steered the Arturo 6 year old to a front-end 1:52.3 triumph. All About Winning raced big for Tim Tetrick to finish second. Ain't Goin Back and Ben Stafford closed to finish third for the third straight week.
Morgan also teamed with Flirtwithedealer to wIn the first of two $17,500 Mares paces recording a lifetime best 1:51.4 mark for the 5-year-old Cam's Card Shark daughter owned by Tom Ireland and Ron Killen. Ideal Coast (Hanners) picked up second money. Pacific Illusion (Brandon Givens) finished third.
Bay Express N, driven by Roger Plante for Ed Maas and Howard Paisley, picked up a lifetime record 1:53.2 success in a second $17,500 pace. She's Game (Morgan) and Seamstresforthepan (Eddie Davis) were second and third, respectively.
Casino Bus responded to a two-hole trip to overtake The Queen Of Trash (Givens) in a $17,000 mares 1:53 mile. Tetrick drove the win for Cavalli Pazzi Stables, her second win in three races.
