According to reports, legislation will be introduced in the Florida House of Representatives next week that will limit tribal casinos, such as the Seminole Tribe operations in South Florida, to slots, and prohibit their present table game business.
In 2007 Florida Gov. Charlie Crist made a deal with the Seminole Indian tribe which guarantees the state $100 million over 25 years, and table games were a part of the deal.

The Isle Pompano Park and Gulfstream Park are presently the only two South Florida horse racing tracks with slots.
