Four Starzzzz Stable’s Four Starz Molly ($11.40, Montrell Teague) made her Harrington Raceway debut a winning one Tuesday, capturing the $20,000 Mares Open in 1:54.2.
The George Teague trainee found room up the back stretch approaching three quarters and charged home through the stretch to reel in pacesetting Ireneonthemove, who held second, while Rusty Again closed ground for third.
Remarkably, "Molly" was one of 13 off-the-pace winners on the night as just two pacesetting horses ended up in the winner’s circle.
