He was unraced at two and on Monday afternoon at Monticello Raceway Four Starz Speed, a 3-year-old trotting colt owned by the Fourt Starzzzz Stables, notched his fourth consecutive victory and remained undefeated when he turned back an aged field in a 2:01.4 clocking.
“He’s green but he seems to have a big motor and he really loves what he’s doing,” said driver Jimmy Marohn who has handled the colt in all four of his pari-mutuel starts at Monticello Raceway. “I really haven’t had to ask him for much but when I did he responded.”

At the quarter pole Four Starz Speed was in third place but some nine lengths behind the leader Montabello Jake ( Kyle DiBenedetto). From there Four Starz Speed trotted to the front and held off all comers in the lane for a solid one-length triumph over Northmedo Rombauer, handled by Jordan Stratton. Montabello Jake faded and finished third, two lengths behind the winner. Sent off as the 2-5 odds-on favorite Four Starz Speed paid $2.80 for win. Also on the afternoon card, Mike Forte put on a driving clinic winning four races. Forte’s first victory came behind Rosemarie Moore’s Rising Debt in 1:57.3 and he waited until the ninth to rein Frank Petrelli’s Sassy Brenda to a 2:00.1 triumph. Forte then won the final two races on the card; he scored in the 11th with Jennifer Rotundo’s Storm In Jordan in 2:00.1 and then won the finale with Owen Eiler’s
