Four Starz Sue squeezed through a tiny opening to get up in time and win the featured Open Handicap pace on Saturday afternoon at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Four Starz Sue went off as the 4-5 favorite from post position six, and was forced to sit back in sixth early on as Broadway Jake set early fractions of :27.2 and :57. The favorite followed the cover of Slickest Havover, who took over the lead on the outside at the three-quarter mile mark, which was reached in 1:25.2. Driver Tim Tetrick could have chosen to go three wide with Four Starz Sue in the stretch, but instead he swerved inside of Slickest Hanover and just outside of Allamerican Inca, who was driving up the passing lane.
