Four straight for Eagle Real One

Return Home
June 10, 2008 Send To A Friend  | Print View

Frank Dettore's Eagle Real One ($5.60, Jon Roberts) earned his fourth straight victory Monday in the $21,000 Junior Open Pace at Harrington Raceway.

The Josh Green trainee left hard from post five and set fractions of :27.1, :56, and 1:24.3. Immortal Quest N fought gamely first-over throughout but lost by a nose to a stubborn Eagle Real One, who earned his sixth win of the year as his seasonal bankroll approached $100,000.

Pam Polk's Wynnfield Scamp (Eddie Davis Jr., 1:52.2) and Bill Camp, Teague Inc. and Double Down Stables' Mattdultery (Jim Morand, 1:52.2) won the other divisions, respectively.

George Dennis and Mike Cole each won three races on the program. (Harrington)
