Four supplement to TCS

The nominations for the Pacing Classic and Classic Oaks grew by two entrants each with the closing of supplemental nominations this past Thursday.

MJG Racing Stable and Louis Willinger, owners of the Breeders Crown winner Lis Mara, have nominated him to the Pacing Classic. Also supplemented to that division is the talented and very fresh Make It Brief, who made his first start since June of 2005 in an overnight on Saturday night at Balmoral for owner Odds On Breeding.

The inaugural Miss Versatility winner Lavec Dream, who lowered the half-mile track world record with that victory, has been supplemented to the Classic Oaks by owner-trainer Peter Kleinhans. Snazzy Millie, the recent winner of the Earl Rowe Series for owners Terry and Clarence Devos, will join her as a supplement in that division.

The first leg of the Trotting Classic and Classic Oaks will be raced at Woodbine Racetrack on Friday, Oct. 27, with both the Pacing Classic and Classic Distaff going on Saturday night, Oct. 28, as part of the Breeders Crown program. (Classic Series)
