Fox Valley Appeal p,3,1:50, a 4-year-old son of Sportsmaster who has been competing with the best older pacers in the United States this year, is headed for Australia after owners Robert Cohen and Jerry Spitzberg of Ribbonships Stable sold the Illinois bred to iron ore magnate Clive Palmer of Australia for an undisclosed amount through the online sales agency, onGait.com.

Fox Valley Appeal earned over $156,000 as a 3 year old while taking a mark of 1:50 at Balmoral Park. This year at four, he finished second in an elimination of the rich Monticello-OTB Classic to eventual winner Mypanmar. Fox Valley Appeal leaves the States with earnings over $296,000 and 15 victories.
