Foxy Maneuver pays $60.60

Longshot Foxy Maneuver rallied for a 1:50 victory and lit up the toteboard with a victory in the $35,000 pacing feature at the Meadowlands Saturday night.



The 7-year-old gelding by Armbro Maneuver won by 2 1/4 lengths over Rare Jewel. He returned $60.60, $13.00 and $4.80 in his 2006 debut. On Dec 3 he won a winner's over $25,000 lifetime class at the Meadowlands in 1:52.2. In his previous Bib M start on Breeders Crown night he finished third behinds Rare Jewel in the $75,000 Invitational.



Rare Jewel cut the mile and battled with Hop Sing down the backstretch before being passed by Foxy Maneuver, driven by Brian Sears .Rob Roy Mattgregor took third.



Foxy Maneuver is trained and owned by Donald Eash of Greenfield, Ind. The 39th victory of his career pushed Foxy Maneuver's earnings to $701,861. He has finished in-the-money in 69 of 119 starts.



"Foxy Maneuver is the best horse I've had," said Eash, who is racing at the Meadowlands for the first time this winter. "There isn't anything that stands out about him. He's just very consistent every race."
