Yonkers Raceway and Freehold Raceway have cancelled their Thursday (Jan. 27) live programs due to a snowstorm. Freehold also announced that Friday afternoon's card has also been cancelled and that live racing hopefully will resume on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Simulcasting will remain open at Freehold.
At Yonkers, evening simulcasting Thursday has also been cancelled, Afternoon simulcasting had previously been shelved with Aqueduct not racing. Live racing at Yonkers, along with day/night simulcasting, is scheduled to resume Friday. First post for the 12-race live card is the usual 7:10 pm.
