Freshmen NJSS open at the Meadowlands

All Or None romped to a 1:55.1 victory for driver John Campbell and trainer Kevin Lare in the second of two $46,500 New Jersey Sire Stakes for 2-year-old filly pacers Wednesday night at the Meadowlands, drawing off to a three-length tally over My Betty J. Wildflower Hanover was third in what was opening-round action for 2008 for freshmen.
 
The daughter of Cam’s Card Shark-Heather’s Western was a $50,000 yearling purchase at the Harrisburg Sale by North State Street Stable of Dover, Delaware.
 
In the first division, Jkmusicofthenite got up by a neck over Red High Heels and was also clocked in 1:55.1. Yannick Gingras steered the daughter of Western Ideal-L’Chaim to victory for trainer Linda Toscano and 3 Brothers Stables of New York, N.Y.
 
Two $39,000 divisions for trotting fillies were also contested. Dream Pink (Dream Vacation-Blackdenimtrousers) won the first split in 1:59.4 for trainer Ryan Macedonio. Stunning Delight (Windsong’s Legacy-Armbro Stunning) closed along the pylons to take the second division in 2:00 for Randy Beeckman.
