Sanfandango and Florida Boy won their respective divisions of the Florida Stallion Stakes Saturday at Pompano Park, each posting their sixth straight victories.

Sanfandango, a 2-year-old daughter of Mean Mr Mustard, wired her field of fillies in 1:56.2 for driver Bruce Ranger. Her six straight triumphs have come in eight starts for trainer Melvyn Aylor, who co-owns and co-bred the filly with Lee Gluckman.

In the second $20,000 division for fillies, Greatest Of All and Robert Williams Jr. also went wire to wire in 1:56.1. The daughter of Miami Mogul is a homebred owned by Amelia Williams.

Florida Boy, a son of Raging Glory, pulled away from Ty's Blessing deep in the stretch for the one-length victory in 1:56.1. It was the seventh start for the colt driven by Jay Sears. Sears and his son, Brian, co-own the colt, who is trained by Kim Sears.

In the second division for colts, Reign Again went wire to wire, pulling away to a 2-length victory in a lifetime best 1:54.2. It was the third straight score for the Raging Glory gelding, who is a homebred owned by Mary Smith.

With their victories Sanfandango and Florida Boy also became eligible to win or share the $100,000 bonus from the Florida Standardbred Breeders and Owners and Pompano Park if they win the Florida Breeders Stakes finals Dec. 11.
