Frog Juice, the only 3 year old in the field, subdued seven seasoned rivals to win the first $26,000 Open of the new Dover Downs season on Monday. Tony Morgan added three wins; trainer Josh Green also had a triple.

The 1:51.2 win by Frog Juice was the fourth in a row for the George Teague trainee bred and owned by Gary and Barbara Iles of Harrington, Del. It was Jim Morand's second winning drive of the day. No Perfect Escape (Eric Goodell) closed well to finish second in front of Village Blitz (Morgan).

In one of two $22,000 winners-over paces, George At Bigs with Morgan at the controls scored an impressive victory. The Cam's Card Shark gelding overtook Mjbudah Baby (Ron Pierce) on the final turn and drew off for a four-length triumph in 1:52.3. Eric Ells conditions the winner for Ken Wood, Bill Dittmer and Steve Iaquinta. A 17-1 sot Bust Mee N (Brandon Givens) was runner up. Itchy (Vince Copeland) came on for third.

Givens rushed Prince Of Luck along the passing lane to nip Next Flight (Jim Morand) at the wire in 1:53.1 to win the first of two $22,000 winners-over paces. Commander Turk N (Corey Callahan) led early and settled for third place. Bonnie Allen and Brenda Harper own Prince Of Luck, a 5-year-old Camluck gelding trained by Wayne Givens. The win pushed the winner over the $100,000 mark this season.

On the undercard, Print It overcame starting from post 8 to notch a 1:52.2 victory in an $18,500 pace.  Goodell drove the winner for former Major League manager Tom Kelly. (Dover Downs)
