Gallo Blue Chip, the richest pacing Standardbred of all time and 2000 Horse of the Year, will visit the inaugural New York Horse World Expo in Syracuse, N.Y., May 11 to 13. A winner of more than $4.2 million during his career on the track, the gelding has attracted crowds of admirers during his previous equine ambassador appearances. The Horse World Expo will be presented for the first time in the Gallo Blue Chip will be accompanied to Horse World Expo by caretaker Kelly Ford and appears courtesy of trainer Mark Ford and owner Martin Scharf. Gallo Blue Chip will be shown in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association and New York Sire Stakes booth in Breed Row of the Hours of the Horse World Expo are noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $10 daily for adults, $5 for children age 7-12 and free to children under 7.
