Gamblers Passion wins Blossom Series leg

Gambler’s Passion made her sophomore debut a winning one in the $22,5000 second round of the Blossom Series on Wednesday night at the Meadowlands. 

Driven by David Miller, Gambler’s Passion came first up and sailed home in :26.2 to best Spoiled Beach by 1 1/4 lengths in 1:52. She paid $6 to win. Gambler’s Passion has now won three of four career starts for owner-trainer Kostas Tsankos of East Rutherford, N.J. The daughter of Cam’s Card Shark-Beach Bretta was a $26,000 yearling purchase at the New Jersey Classic Sale. 
 
The $70,000 Blossom final for filly pacers is next Wednesday, April 15.(Meadowlands)
