Driver Mark Gingrich was injured in a fall during the third race at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Monday afternoon. Gingrich was helped into an ambulance after the accident and taken for further observation. The accident occurred when Hipo Final Combat, the horse Gingrich was driving, tripped over another falling horse at the top of the stretch. Gingrich was thrown from the sulky to the ground. Gingrich was later treated and released with minor injuries. (Pocono)
