Four $100,000 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) championship finals for 3-year-old pacers and trotters were held Thursday at Dover Downs.

The fastest time of the day came in the $100,000 DSBF Colt and Gelding Pace. Eddie Davis Jr. shot Lather Machine, owned by his breeders Gary and Barbara Iles of Harrington, Del., quickly into the lead and continued on the front end with none of his seven rivals getting closer than a length before rolling home in :27.4 to win by 3 1/4 lengths in 1:51.1.

Lather Machine is a gelded son of Badlands Hanover. Bobby Clark trains Lather Machine who has won six of nine career starts.

Ireneonthemove reduced her lifetime record to 1:52 in an impressive 1 ½-length triumph in the $100,000 DSBF Filly Pace. The daughter of Powerful Toy romped to her 10th win in 13 races, with Tony Morgan at the controls.

Ireneonthemove is trained by Jason Skinner for owner Rodney Watt of Milford, Del. The filly has now won $177,666 in her young career.

On the trotting front, Brandon Givens drove the standout CR Commando filly Westgate Alexis to an uncontested 2:00.4 victory from post eight. The 19-year-old Givens, who won both $100,000 trot finals, piloted the bay filly owned by his aunt Vicki Givens and the late Harvey Simpson, of Seaford, Del. to her 10th victory in 11 career starts. She has now won $193,325 in purses. Westgate Alexis is conditioned by Brandon's uncle, Wayne Givens.

Brandon Givens also directed All This Snazz, trained by his dad, Les Givens, to a 1:57.4 victory in the final for colt and gelding trotters. The lightly-raced All This Snazz, owned by Nanticoke Racing Inc. of Seaford, Del., continued unbeaten through his third lifetime start.
